Polygonum convolvulus of Michigan Flora.

A European weed usually in disturbed ground and disturbed places, including roadsides, railroads, gardens and cultivated (or recently cultivated) fields, gravel pits, railroads, clearings; sometimes on shores and moist, open disturbed sites. Abundant and established in Michigan as early as 1838, when it was collected in Cass Co.
