Rumex thyrsiflorus A. A. Reznicek

A Eurasian introduction of disturbed ground, similar to R. acetosa but more densely flowered and deeply tap-rooted. First collected in 1948 in Mackinac Co.

Locally frequent in dry gravelly soil in the vicinity of St. Ignace, Mackinac Co., otherwise very little met with.
