Portulaca oleracea B. S. Walters

A cosmopolitan weed in temperate and warm climates, though apparently native in our portion of North America; collected as early as 1838 in Cass Co. More widely distributed as a weed of lawns, gardens, cultivated fields, alleys, and gravel pits than the map indicates, but neglected by collectors.
