Ranunculus repens colony A. A. Reznicek colony

A variable European species, occasionally found as a weed of roadsides, lawns, vacant lots, fields, springy shores and marshes. First collected in 1897 in St. Clair Co. The species is sometimes cultivated, especially in a double-flowered form which may escape.
