Gillenia stipulata A. Chartier

Presumably introduced from farther south; the only Michigan records are two collections (BLH) by O. A. Farwell at Detroit, Wayne Co. in 1900 (Belle Isle) and 1902, the latter was reported by him from “fields.” Very similar to G. trifoliata, except for the stipules, which almost suggest additional leaflets.
