Physiognomy: Ad P-Forb

An occasionally cultivated European species rarely escaped to disturbed open forests; first collected in Ottawa County in 2015 by W. S. Martinus. Several species of Alchemilla, all relatively similar in appearance, are cultivated and could escape. This is a large species, distinctive in its hairy leaf surfaces and in having bractlets that are the same size as the sepals, rather than shorter, as in most species.
