Ratibida columnifera B. S. Walters

Native to prairies and open ground west of the Great Lakes, adventive eastward chiefly along railroads and first collected in 1935 in Kalamazoo Co. Some recent records (as in Lenawee Co.) are spread from prairie plantings.
