Lolium giganteum A. A. Reznicek

Disturbed or open forests, along trails especially. A native of Europe first collected by B. T. Hazlett in the area of a marl spring in Benzie Co. in 1985, and as yet rarely seen. Often known as Festuca gigantea (L.) Vill or Schedonorus giganteus (L.) Holub.
